2025 Annual Conference and Trade Show

The International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Canadian Prairie Section cordially invites all interested candidates to present a technical paper at the Annual Conference and Trade Show to be held in Edmonton, Alberta at the above noted dates.
Technical sessions/presentations are planned for April 9th and 10th, 2025 and your knowledge and case studies or industry experiences or applications are requested to be shared with your peers.
Please send your abstract (maximum 500 words) in the body of an email or as an attached Microsoft Word file, within the identified timeline and to the contact noted below.
Technical papers are invited for presentation at the conference, on any aspect of:
- Traffic Signals Infrastructure/Equipment
- Event Management Strategies
- Signalized Pedestrian Crossings
- Roadway Lighting
- Road/Traffic Safety
- ITS Strategies, plans or evaluations
- Signal Communications
- Vehicle Detection
- Signs and Road Markings
- Work Zone Strategies
- Traffic Signal Maintenance Practices
Those papers accepted for presentation will enable a 50% discount of the conference registration for
a maximum of one (1) presenter (if co-presenting; and non-transferable) and all presentations made at the conference will be available online on the IMSA Canadian Prairie Section website.
Important Dates:
⇒ Abstracts for both Presentations must be received by February 16, 2025.
⇒ Notification of acceptance by February 24, 2025.
⇒ Final Paper and Presenter Biography to be submitted by March 10, 2025.
With the Final Paper Submission, we would also like to request Biographical Information related to the Presenter(s). The following information are requested:

Presentations will be approximately 20 to 25 minutes in length, with 5 to 10 minutes of questions and discussions. More time may be allotted if requested.
